Key Responsibilities

* Drive business expansion by developing and executing strategic plans to grow Air & Sea Freight services * Spearhead new customer acquisition efforts, targeting key accounts and identifying opportunities for Logistics services growth * Lead revenue growth initiatives, achieving assigned sales targets and contributing to overall business development * Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities, informing business development strategies * Architect and manage end-to-end air freight operations, including rate management, space allocation, and invoicing * Foster strong relationships with airlines, negotiating rates, and managing space and stock allocations * Ensure seamless customer experience by verifying documents, sending pre-alerts, and preparing necessary documentation (AWB, Manifests, Invoices, EDI) * Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with overseas partners, negotiating rates, booking shipments, and securing approvals * Deliver exceptional customer relationship management, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction * Drive credit realization, monitoring and following up on payments to ensure timely settlement * Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring market trends, analyzing industry developments, and identifying opportunities for growth * Ensure compliance and accuracy in all operations, including IGM/EGM submissions, discrepancy management, and cargo tracking

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Masters
  • Graduate / Postgraduate

Additional

  • 5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding sales
  • Strong knowledge of overall freight forwarding and shipping services
  • Proven track record of achieving GP targets
  • Excellent negotiation, business communication and Presentation skills
  • Strong client network in import/export industries
  • Good command over English
  • Good knowledge of computer literacy especially MS Office, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
