Merchandiser (Sweater Factory)

* Spearhead order fulfillment from development to shipment, ensuring utmost accuracy and attention to detail. * Architect and manage production plans, tracking sampling, production, and quality control processes. * Drive buyer relationships through scheduled meetings, guaranteeing garments meet requirements and ship on time. * Orchestrate supply chain operations to procure trims and materials efficiently. * Collaborate with buyers to secure approvals for fabrics, trims, and embellishments. * Develop and manage Bills of Materials, KD sheets, and budgets within the ERP system, adhering to management policies. * Oversee yarn, knitting, dyeing, printing, embroidery, sampling, and bulk production to ensure quality and timely shipment. * Partner with Buying QA to deliver exceptional final products. * Champion quality control throughout the production process, from initial to final stages. * Release production files with comprehensive documentation, including PO, BOM, TP, and PP comments. * Lead Pre-Production meetings, verifying that all items, including fabrics and trims, are available. * Possess in-depth knowledge of knit products, fabrics, accessories, and trims. * Assume merchandising responsibilities upon order placement, handing over requirements to production/operations teams. * Calculate and execute raw material demands for product sampling. * Obtain PP sample approvals from buyers, ensuring perfect styling, sizing, measurement, color, weight, and other specifications. * Foster seamless communication with customers and suppliers. * Design and develop samples for existing and new buyers, meeting their requirements and specifications. * Develop layouts and quality standards for accessories and packaging items with suppliers, following buyer instructions. * Maintain detailed sample/development logs, tracking customer, style, article, and size information.
