Key Responsibilities
* Drive production planning and scheduling by creating daily, weekly, and monthly plans that optimize resource allocation and meet sales demands.
* Architect efficient production workflows by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and warehouse departments.
* Lead the manufacturing process by overseeing batch preparation, mixing, and filling operations, ensuring adherence to formulation and process parameters.
* Manage production output by monitoring performance, reducing waste, and implementing process improvements to ensure consistency and quality.
* Champion quality control and assurance by enforcing standards for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, and collaborating with the QC/QA team to address deviations.
* Develop and implement quality improvement programs to minimize non-conformance and enhance overall quality.
* Oversee equipment maintenance by coordinating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of mixers, mills, reactors, and lab equipment.
* Foster a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment, and promoting a culture of compliance.
* Optimize inventory and resource management by monitoring raw material usage, stock levels, and consumption patterns to reduce waste and minimize costs.
* Lead and develop high-performing production teams by supervising staff, providing training, and promoting a culture of excellence.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of formulations, process changes, and quality deviations to ensure transparency and compliance.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce production costs through innovation, process automation, and waste control, and implementing initiatives to achieve these goals.
Requirements
Education
- Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
Additional
- Only Male
- At least 2 years of experience in an Assistant Managerial role in the paint industry.
