Key Responsibilities

* Drive clinical excellence by performing a range of medical tasks, including ultrasound examinations, to support the efficient operation of the medical facility. * Lead patient preparation for examinations, capturing medical histories, and recording vital signs to inform treatment decisions. * Assist healthcare professionals during medical exams and minor procedures, ensuring seamless delivery of care. * Administer medications and injections under the direction of healthcare providers, prioritizing patient safety and well-being. * Manage wound care and dressing changes, applying best practices to promote healing and prevent infection. * Deliver personalized health education and counseling to patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care, including lifestyle modifications for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). * Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to strict protocols for consultation room and equipment sterilization. * Champion waste management practices, ensuring proper segregation and disposal of medical waste. * Oversee medical inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure continuity of care and operational efficiency.

Education

  • Diploma in Medical
  • Diploma or certificate in Medical Assistant / Paramedical studies

Additional

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EIIR systems
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in working Rohingya Refugee camp in different INGO/NGO
  • Basic clinical and patient care skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in emergency settings
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse communities
  • Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
  • Adhere to humanitarian principles and organizational policies
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure respectful and non-discriminatory service delivery
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Bengali language required
  • Rohingya dialect highly preferred
  • Basic English preferred
