Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the development and execution of a tailored annual business plan and marketing strategy for the Indian market, driving growth and expansion. * Architect market entry and expansion plans, identifying key cities and regions for distribution network setup and evaluating potential opportunities. * Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis, benchmarking against Indian and international furniture brands to inform business decisions. * Drive sales forecasting and budgeting, setting quarterly and annual targets for Indian operations and allocating resources effectively. * Establish and manage a robust network of distributors, dealers, and multi-brand outlets across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, fostering strong partnerships and alliances. * Identify and onboard high-performing channel partners who embody the company's brand values, providing training, support, and marketing collateral to drive success. * Explore and manage Exclusive Brand Outlets and shop-in-shop concepts in high-footfall locations, maximizing brand visibility and sales. * Lead project sales initiatives, engaging architects, interior designers, hotels, and corporates to secure bulk contracts and drive revenue growth. * Adapt global marketing campaigns for the Indian market, tailoring messaging and content to resonate with local consumers and cultural context. * Design and execute below-the-line marketing activities, including exhibitions, events, and residential welfare association meets, to build brand awareness and drive engagement. * Oversee the localization of marketing materials, catalogs, and digital content, ensuring consistency and relevance across all touchpoints. * Develop and manage digital marketing strategies for India, leveraging social media, influencer collaborations, and other online channels to reach target audiences. * Gather and analyze market intelligence on product preferences, pricing sensitivity, and regional design trends, informing product development and strategy. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to suggest India-specific product modifications, ensuring alignment with local market needs and preferences. * Manage inventory levels and supply chain operations, ensuring optimal stock availability and timely delivery to customers. * Build and lead a high-performing local sales and support team in India, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to drive success. * Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and other teams to ensure seamless delivery, installation, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with Indian import regulations, taxation, and legal requirements. * Develop and present comprehensive monthly reports on sales, market trends, competition, and ROI of marketing spends, tracking key performance indicators such as market share, revenue growth, and brand awareness.

Requirements

Skills

Fluent in Hindi (written and verbal)Professional proficiency in English

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing

Additional

  • Strong understanding of Indian consumer psyche and regional diversity
  • Established network within the Indian furniture, dealer, and architect community (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (100% within India)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/matrix reporting structure
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
