* Drive manufacturing excellence by overseeing overall unit activities, developing strategic visions, and implementing best practices to enhance business performance. * Architect and execute manufacturing policies, processes, and procedures to meet business objectives, ensuring alignment with price, quality, and delivery targets. * Lead risk mitigation and opportunity development efforts, evaluating business challenges and implementing proactive solutions. * Contribute to the development of the overall business strategy and annual budget, ensuring manufacturing priorities are integrated. * Own and manage manufacturing policies, guidelines, and associated documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective. * Innovate and develop creative manufacturing processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean principles. * Optimize plant performance through strategic capital investments, working capital management, and waste reduction initiatives. * Develop and refine five-year plans, adapting to changes in production, new unit establishment, or other factors impacting forward planning. * Analyze past performance data, tracking progress and growth to inform future business decisions. * Balance volume growth with disciplined cost management to achieve targeted profitability, ensuring P&L ownership. * Develop and execute long-range plans and seasonal estimates, driving production planning and quality management efforts. * Procure high-quality materials, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring adherence to financial plans. * Create and refine production plans, incorporating feedback from monthly production conferences and ensuring timely product development. * Ensure timely finalization of product lines, driving efficient operations to meet market requirements. * Collaborate with associate units to introduce new machines, modernize operations, and maintain minimum quality specifications. * Participate in research and development activities, organizing monthly inventory checks to minimize raw material usage. * Conduct regular shop, depot, and sales office visits to gather feedback on quality, market trends, and supply schedules. * Control material consumption, ensuring alignment with approved costing and taking corrective action when necessary. * Manage accurate and on-time product delivery, meeting customer orders and expectations. * Conduct regular inventory spot checks, ensuring accuracy and identifying areas for improvement.
