Key Responsibilities
* Lead the overall operations of a primary healthcare facility, ensuring seamless management of staff and services.
* Foster strategic partnerships with local government and INGO/NGO stakeholders to drive collaborative efforts.
* Develop and submit comprehensive reports, requisitions, and documents to meet program team requirements.
* Deliver high-quality primary healthcare services to children, adhering to standard protocols and guidelines.
* Provide technical guidance and support to medical assistants, nurses, midwives, and other staff members as needed.
* Design and implement in-house training sessions and refresher courses for nurses, counselors, and allied healthcare workers.
* Drive daily reporting on service coverage, drug dispensing, and other key performance indicators.
* Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, addressing any potential Health & Safety issues within the facility.
* Architect smooth service provision, supervising staff to adhere to proper IPC and patient compliance protocols.
* Manage facility readiness for donor visits, external audits, and internal reviews.
* Conduct routine monitoring of service points, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurate completion of daily checklists.
* Evaluate and admit new patients, deciding on appropriate courses of action, including treatment, discharge, or admission to clinical units.
* Perform thorough physical examinations, gather detailed patient histories, and interpret test results to inform diagnosis and treatment.
* Develop and implement treatment plans, managing complicated cases and conducting regular follow-ups with admitted patients.
* Collaborate with senior doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff to coordinate patient care activities and review complicated cases.
* Supervise and guide junior staff members, providing ongoing coaching and training on basic rules, procedures, and best practices.
* Drive clinical research initiatives, ensuring proper clinical management and contributing to the development of new treatments and protocols.
* Prepare and present reports on cases, incidents, and initiatives, sharing experiences and lessons learned with team members.
* Manage staff conflicts and complaints in a fair and unbiased manner, ensuring adherence to PSEAH and Safeguarding protocols.
* Escalate PSEAH and safeguarding-related issues to senior management, ensuring prompt action and resolution.
Requirements
Education
- MBBS
- Post-graduation in Surgery, Emergency medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease or other disciplines

- Willingness to work in humanitarian response
- Willingness to work in remote areas
