Sr. Officer - Compliance/ Sustainability

* Spearhead compliance and sustainability efforts across operations and supply chain, ensuring adherence to local regulations and international buyer standards. * Architect and execute comprehensive audit strategies, encompassing social, technical, and environmental audits to drive continuous improvement. * Drive internal audit programs to guarantee 100% compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and international buyer Codes of Conduct, identifying and addressing gaps to ensure seamless adherence. * Develop and implement targeted Corrective Action Plans, ensuring prompt closure of audit findings and maintaining a culture of compliance. * Champion sustainability initiatives, leveraging tools like the Higg Index to monitor and optimize environmental performance, including energy, water, and waste management. * Manage and track key Environmental KPIs, implementing effective waste management systems, energy-saving initiatives, and water consumption tracking to minimize environmental footprint. * Align operations with global sustainability benchmarks and best practices, maintaining certifications such as GRS, OCS, and GOTS to ensure credibility and trust. * Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular site visits and inspections, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of sustainability and social responsibility.
