Fire & Safety Officer

* Spearhead fire hazard identification and mitigation, focusing on electrical faults, chemical use, and combustible material storage. * Drive regular safety inspections across floors, warehouses, and production lines to ensure a hazard-free environment. * Architect and implement effective storage solutions for flammable materials, ensuring compliance with safety standards. * Manage and maintain fire protection systems, including fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinkler systems, and hydrants, to guarantee optimal functionality. * Develop, update, and enforce comprehensive fire emergency plans and evacuation procedures to minimize risk. * Lead regular fire drills and training sessions for employees, emphasizing fire safety awareness, extinguisher use, and emergency exit protocols. * Ensure seamless compliance with local fire safety laws, regulations, and international standards, such as BSCI, WRAP, and Accord/Alliance. * Maintain meticulous records of fire drills, equipment inspections, incident reports, and other critical safety data. * Serve as the first responder during fire emergencies, coordinating evacuation and rescue operations, and liaising with external fire services. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, HR, and compliance, to promote a culture of fire safety and adherence to regulatory requirements. * Supervise fire wardens and emergency response teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective fire safety management. * Balance safety protocols with operational efficiency, ensuring that safety checks and procedures do not disrupt continuous production workflows.
