Assistant Manager - HSE

* Drive the development and implementation of comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols to ensure 100% compliance with local laws, International ISO standards, and social/environmental buyer audits. * Architect and maintain Management Systems, including ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management systems, to minimize workplace injuries and illnesses. * Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including the Bangladesh Labor Act, Environment Conservation Act, and Fire Safety regulations, through proactive monitoring and compliance management. * Lead and prepare for various audits, including environmental audits (e.g., Higg Index FEM, ZDHC, DOE inspections), internal safety audits, and social/ethical audits (e.g., SEDEX, BSCI, customer-specific audits), to ensure seamless execution and compliance. * Conduct thorough Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments for all production processes to identify and mitigate potential hazards. * Oversee the management of chemicals and hazardous waste disposal protocols to ensure safe handling and minimize environmental impact. * Design and deliver engaging HSE training programs for workers and staff to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. * Manage and maintain accurate documentation, risk assessments, and objectives aligned with ISO standards to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
