Assistant Manager - IE & Planning

* Spearhead production planning, driving monthly and weekly strategies to meet shipment targets and optimize efficiency. * Architect production processes, implementing line balancing and analyzing hourly production to maximize output and drive corrective actions. * Drive process improvements, conducting time and motion studies to establish accurate Standard Minute Values (SMV) and inform data-driven decisions. * Develop and deploy innovative methods to minimize waste, boost productivity, and reduce costs, ensuring alignment with business objectives. * Craft capacity plans, setting realistic production targets and ensuring seamless delivery schedules that meet customer expectations. * Inform product costing by analyzing operational breakdowns, SMV, and identifying opportunities for cost savings through process optimization. * Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including efficiency, absenteeism, bottlenecks, and operator performance, to identify areas for improvement. * Design and optimize factory layouts, streamlining workflows, minimizing motion and handling time, and ensuring the right resources are allocated to each process. * Ensure uninterrupted material flow across all production sections, including cutting, sewing, and finishing. * Train and develop supervisors, line leaders, and operators, equipping them with best practices, method improvements, and efficiency techniques to drive a multi-skilled workforce. * Champion continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen, to drive business excellence and compliance with industry benchmarks. * Maintain optimal man-machine ratios, driving workforce efficiency and arranging targeted training sessions to upskill workers and enhance overall performance. * Develop and implement Training Needs Analysis (TNA) reports, aligning with management plans and driving strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives.
