Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Commercial

* Drive commercial strategy and revenue growth through innovative business development and client relationship management * Architect pricing strategies, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability and market expansion * Lead contract management, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements * Monitor and analyze commercial performance metrics and KPIs to inform data-driven decisions * Negotiate and review commercial contracts and agreements to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes * Foster a high-performance culture, setting performance targets and conducting regular reviews to drive results * Manage and develop commercial teams, providing guidance and expertise to ensure successful execution of import, export, trade finance, and banking operations * Oversee the preparation of export documents, LC opening, and customs clearance, ensuring timely and efficient processing * Track and monitor import and export activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements * Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, banks, shipping lines, and forwarding agents * Manage trade finance operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution of related tasks * Analyze and act on commercial MIS reports, providing insights and recommendations to management * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of import and export activities, including vehicle programs and documentation * Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including BGMEA, BKMEA, and other industry organizations * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement * Collaborate with management to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, driving business growth and expansion * Travel as required for client meetings, business development, and industry events, representing the organization and building relationships with key stakeholders.
