Key Responsibilities

* Drive IT operations across various projects, ensuring seamless technical support and system maintenance to enhance overall efficiency. * Architect and implement effective IT solutions, including hardware, software, and networking configurations, to meet project staff needs. * Manage and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. * Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive IT inventory and asset tracking system, ensuring accurate records and compliance. * Spearhead database management, including data entry, validation, and reporting, to provide actionable insights for project management. * Develop and implement data backup, recovery, and security procedures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent data loss. * Design and generate periodic reports, leveraging data analytics to inform project decisions and drive progress. * Collaborate with project teams to implement and support project-related software, ERP systems, and mobile applications, ensuring successful adoption and utilization. * Deliver user support and basic training to project staff, empowering them to effectively utilize IT systems and tools. * Foster a culture of digital transformation, identifying opportunities to leverage technology to drive development program success and advance the organization's mission. * Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of data security and integrity.

Requirements

Skills

Basic knowledge of hardware, networking, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Understanding of database systems and MISStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and interpersonal skills

Education

  • Masters in any discipline

Additional

  • Minimum 1 years of practical experience in implementing donor-funded projects, preferably in NGO/INGO settings
  • Basic knowledge of hardware, networking, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of database systems and MIS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in field environments
  • Willingness to travel frequently to remote project areas
  • Strong commitment to development and NGO sector work
  • Ability to work in a team and multicultural environment
