* Spearhead the overall financial management of the group's operations, driving strategic financial planning, controlling, and coordination. * Architect and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and projections, including cash flow statements, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements. * Lead budgeting and capital management initiatives, ensuring effective budgetary control and optimal allocation of resources. * Oversee group fund management and disbursement, ensuring timely and efficient utilization of funds. * Drive liability management, monitoring and mitigating potential risks, and implementing corrective measures as needed. * Foster strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. * Manage and guide a team of accounts officers, providing coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and professional development. * Ensure accurate and efficient maintenance of financial records, including cash books, subsidiary ledgers, and balance sheets. * Implement and maintain effective cash management systems, including petty cash, cash disbursement, and inventory management. * Coordinate the implementation of ERP systems across functional units, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including costing, procurement, and internal audit, to drive business growth and ensure compliance with national laws and regulations. * Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring smooth business operations and adherence to applicable laws and regulations, such as VAT and tax rules. * Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial management, ensuring the group's financial operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
