Key Responsibilities
* Drive passenger sales growth for Air India's Bangladesh operation, delivering against monthly and quarterly targets.
* Foster and leverage strategic relationships with key travel industry stakeholders, including IATA agents, consolidators, and corporate clients.
* Spearhead trade engagement initiatives, including regular visits and calls to promote Air India's products, fares, and special schemes.
* Collaborate on the design and execution of roadshows, trade seminars, and promotional campaigns to boost brand visibility and revenue.
* Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of competitor activity, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
* Support the sales team in negotiating group bookings, corporate deals, and special fare requests, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure seamless customer service by coordinating with the ticketing and reservation team, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
* Develop and deliver data-driven sales reports and forecasts, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
* Represent Air India and MAAS Travel & Tours at industry events, promoting the company's brand and interests to key stakeholders and thought leaders.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
Additional
- Familiar with IATA/BSP procedures and airline sales reporting
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Willing to make regular field visits to travel agents and corporate clients
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure
