Key Responsibilities
* Drive financial management and compliance for an integrated Shelter, WASH, and LPG intervention, ensuring timely and efficient financial operations in a remote environment.
* Architect and maintain accurate financial records, processing transactions, and verifying bills and invoices to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Lead compliance efforts, adhering to organizational policies, donor regulations, and government rules, and applying proper tax and VAT deductions.
* Manage cash and banking operations, handling petty cash, preparing cheques, and conducting daily cash counts to ensure seamless financial transactions.
* Provide strategic financial planning and operational support, assisting in budget preparation, financial planning, and variance analysis to drive project success.
* Oversee volunteer-related finances, preparing and processing payments, maintaining attendance records, and ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
* Develop and submit comprehensive financial reports, including monthly reports, cash flow statements, and fund requests, to ensure timely month-end closing and verification of financial transactions.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure transparent and accountable financial management, supporting audit preparation, procurement processes, and field monitoring activities.
* Ensure accurate and organized financial record-keeping, maintaining compliance with audit and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with program teams to ensure transparency and accountability in financial operations.
* Facilitate field-level financial support, providing technical assistance and guidance to ensure uninterrupted implementation of project activities funded by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Education
- Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

- Experience in donor compliance
- Strong financial management and accounting skills
- Sound understanding of compliance, audit, and reporting requirements
- Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
- Problem-solving and sound decision-making capacity
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
