Key Responsibilities
* Drive employee engagement and welfare by addressing worker complaints, grievances, and counseling issues in a timely and confidential manner.
* Foster a positive and supportive work environment through one-to-one counseling sessions, focusing on issues such as absenteeism, performance, and personal concerns.
* Facilitate open communication between workers and management to promote a harmonious industrial relationship and resolve disputes effectively.
* Collaborate with various committees, including Trade Union, Safety Committee, and Anti-Harassment Committee, to ensure worker well-being and compliance with regulations.
* Educate workers on company policies, including leave rules, benefits, attendance, and service rules, to ensure they are informed and empowered.
* Conduct regular audits of worker welfare facilities, such as canteens, toilets, and childcare rooms, to identify areas for improvement and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
* Identify and address worker dissatisfaction, safety concerns, and compliance gaps through regular floor visits and feedback sessions.
* Provide confidential support and guidance to female workers on issues such as harassment, maternity, childcare, and health concerns.
* Develop and implement awareness programs and training sessions on topics like workplace behavior, harassment prevention, and health and hygiene to promote a positive and respectful work culture.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including worker grievance registers, counseling logs, and harassment complaint records, to track progress and identify trends.
* Analyze data and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management, highlighting key trends, concerns, and recommendations for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audits by presenting welfare-related documents and demonstrating effective grievance handling procedures.
* Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by management to drive continuous improvement in worker welfare and counseling services.
