Security & Political Adviser

* Drive strategic decision-making by providing expert analysis on security dynamics and political developments to the delegation. * Foster and maintain a robust network of relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the ICRC's operations are effective and sustainable within the country. * Advise senior management on potential risks and opportunities, enabling informed decision-making and proactive risk mitigation. * Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive security protocols, including contingency plans and crisis management procedures. * Architect and manage security systems, tools, and processes, including incident reporting, movement tracking, and monitoring mechanisms. * Identify, assess, and mitigate safety and security risks through ongoing monitoring and analysis of security, political, social, and economic developments. * Build and leverage a diverse network of contacts with authorities, political bodies, and other stakeholders to advance the ICRC's humanitarian objectives. * Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting and documentation, maintaining the highest standards of security and risk management.
