Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the full HR lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and staff development, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. * Architect and maintain a robust HR infrastructure, including accurate and up-to-date records, HRIS, attendance, payroll inputs, leave, and employee database, to drive transparency and accountability. * Drive strategic workforce planning, including staff placement, transfers, disciplinary actions, and separation processes, to ensure optimal talent utilization and minimize risk. * Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment, addressing staff queries, grievances, and promoting a culture of empathy, trust, and open communication. * Ensure adherence to labor laws, HR policies, and safeguarding standards, promoting a safe and respectful workplace culture that prevents harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. * Develop and implement staff engagement initiatives, conduct yearly staff satisfaction surveys, and facilitate organizational governance to drive continuous improvement and growth. * Cultivate a culture of leadership, mentoring, and professional development, providing guidance and advice to program and leadership teams on HR-related matters to enhance organizational effectiveness and staff well-being. * Identify and attract top talent from diverse channels, building a robust pipeline of potential candidates to meet organizational needs and drive business growth. * Resolve workplace conflicts in a fair, transparent, and timely manner, using a supportive approach that promotes constructive dialogue and resolution. * Monitor and analyze HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as staff turnover, attendance, training completion, and satisfaction, to inform data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Skills

Strong understanding of HR and administrative policies, labor laws, NGO compliance, and donor regulations in BangladeshExcellent leadership, interpersonal, and team management skillsAbility to create a positive, inclusive, gender-sensitive, and safe workplace cultureStrong planning, organization, and problem-solving skillsClear and effective communication skills, including negotiation and collaboration with internal teams and external partnersProficiency in MS OfficeFamiliarity with HR or payroll management systems

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Law, or a related field

Additional

  • Professional certifications in HR, administration, or organizational management
  • Commitment to LEDARS’ mission of climate resilience, community development, and ethical organizational practices
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, including remote and coastal areas, when required
