GBV Officer

* Drive the implementation of GBV activities, mobilizing community leaders and members to participate in awareness campaigns and discussions on GBV prevention and response. * Lead community trainings, supervising outreach facilitators and managing budget lines to ensure effective response, mitigation, and prevention activities. * Collaborate with community members and sector staff to identify GBV risks, sharing findings to inform advocacy and drive program impact. * Architect a coordinated project environment, fostering strong partnerships with agencies, local leaders, and stakeholders through regular participation in workshops, meetings, and inter-agency assessments. * Empower community groups to support GBV prevention and response efforts, designing and implementing awareness campaigns and providing technical guidance and capacity-building to ensure high-quality implementation. * Manage project activities, ensuring timely preparation of sub-project proposals and purchase requests, and efficient management of budget lines to drive smooth implementation. * Develop and maintain effective reporting pathways, documenting risks and context-specific IEC materials to enhance community awareness and strengthen programming. * Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and accountability, demonstrating World Vision's Core Values through work practices and relationships, and actively participating in key working groups and exposure visits to drive learning and growth. * Oversee the development of quality reports, ensuring that project plans and reports are delivered on time, and that internal communication, approvals, and collaboration with the Project/GBV Manager contribute to efficient operations and improved program impact.
