Apparel Product Developer

* Drive the development of product ranges that align with the company's creative vision, conducting market research to stay ahead of trends, materials, and competitor activity. * Architect cohesive and commercially viable collections by translating concepts into technical specifications and product designs. * Lead the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including size charts, grading rules, and product measurement frameworks to ensure consistency across styles and updates. * Develop and refine production-ready tech packs, incorporating key details such as points of measure, grading, construction, and artwork placement to facilitate seamless factory execution. * Design and implement clear vendor instructions, QC checklists, and tolerance guidelines to ensure high-quality products and adherence to company standards. * Manage and coordinate daily communication with factories, clarifying construction methods, measurements, and artwork execution to ensure timely and accurate production. * Track and document product development progress, maintaining a live tracker of all styles, follow-ups, and status updates to ensure transparency and efficiency. * Collaborate with factories to optimize product costs, exploring opportunities for reduction through fabric, trim, and construction inputs, and negotiate initial costing and cost revisions as needed. * Develop and maintain organized and consistent documentation systems, including product files, spec sheets, and revisions, to support efficient product development and production.
