Key Responsibilities
* Drive revenue growth by achieving budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs, and profitability targets.
* Lead customer engagement through timely follow-up calls, ensuring exceptional client experiences and fostering loyalty.
* Conduct market research and analyze competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective Food & Beverage marketing initiatives.
* Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients through entertainment, sales promotions, and targeted mailings.
* Develop and implement department control procedures, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with hotel policies.
* Manage all Food & Beverage inquiries, providing timely responses and follow-ups to drive business growth.
* Coordinate with large group meeting and banquet planners to deliver tailored services and facilities, including proposals, contracts, and function statements.
* Confirm event details with planners, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Oversee daily administrative tasks, including proposals, function contracts, and maintenance of hotel credit policies.
* Directly manage large function billings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and oversee medium and small function billings.
* Gather guaranteed attendance numbers for large events and oversee this process for medium and small events.
* Develop and maintain the department manual, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant.
* Supervise weekly payroll input, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
* Participate in weekly F&B meetings and Department Head meetings, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.
* Assist in menu planning and pricing, collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative and profitable offerings.
* Maintain a complete knowledge of fire procedures and emergency protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
* Participate in Manager on Duty shifts, providing leadership and support to the hotel team.
* Ensure accurate bar inventory management, including opening and closing inventories, bar summaries, and cash deposits.
* Maintain bar control policies, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
* Complete monthly inventory, function bills, and requisitions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks.
* Develop and manage weekly schedules, ensuring adequate staffing, consistent service, and labor costs below 15%.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
Additional
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Food & Beverage operation
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role in hospitality industry
