Key Responsibilities
• Spearhead import and export operations, driving seamless execution of buyer-assigned orders.
• Architect and validate critical export/import documents, including L/C, commercial invoices, and bills of lading.
• Foster strong relationships with banks to facilitate LC opening, amendments, and payment settlements.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with buyer contracts, terms, and international trade regulations.
• Orchestrate shipment bookings, monitor cargo movement, and guarantee timely delivery to ports and buyers.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Oversee customs clearance, HS code accuracy, and bond/license compliance to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain meticulous commercial records, registers, and reports for senior management review.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with production, warehouse, and accounts teams to ensure documentation and financial alignment.
• Track shipment schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to buyer requirements.
• Monitor financial transactions, digital payments, and enforce strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in commercial documents and reports, ensuring data integrity.
• Provide comprehensive support for audits, inspections, and buyer visits, leveraging commercial data and records.
• Inform vendor negotiation, cost optimization, and commercial contract review to drive business growth.
• Generate insightful monthly, quarterly, and yearly commercial performance reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure export compliance, duty drawbacks, and tax rebates through meticulous documentation and process management.
• Partner with compliance and quality teams to prevent violations of buyer standards and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Contribute to risk management, identifying potential commercial risks and recommending proactive mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate new buyer onboarding and commercial feasibility assessments to drive business expansion.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and open communication.
• Drive process improvements, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance commercial efficiency and accelerate turnaround times.
