Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead HR operations, driving compliance with the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and overseeing overall factory operations to ensure seamless execution.
* Architect and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, aligning with buyer requirements and organizational values.
* Lead the development and modification of service rules, policies, and procedures, communicating and enforcing organizational values to guide management and employee actions.
* Drive recruitment, training, and development initiatives, designing efficient job descriptions, orientation programs, and counseling services.
* Manage performance metrics, conducting timely and fair appraisals, promotions, and salary reviews to ensure compliance with labor laws and company practices.
* Oversee employee compensation, benefits, and settlement payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to labor laws and company policies.
* Foster a positive work environment, addressing floor issues, resolving critical complaints, and implementing disciplinary action procedures as needed.
* Coordinate factory audits, preparing and organizing documentation to meet buyer requirements and ensuring readiness for unannounced audits.
* Develop and manage annual training calendars, delivering scheduled training sessions and maintaining proper documentation to meet buyer demands.
* Navigate legal issues related to company affairs and labor law, providing expert guidance and support to management.
* Champion special projects and assignments as directed by management, driving HR excellence and contributing to the company's overall success.
Requirements
Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (PGDHRM)
Additional
- Sound knowledge on process & procedures of certification of BWB, BRAC, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT, etc.
- Strong knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and the recent amendments.
- Highly observant and able to make timely decisions.
- Strong negotiation and convincing skills, and the capability to address critical issues with the concerned parties.
- Should be prompt with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership qualities.
- Able to work under pressure when needed.
