Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies to safeguard guests, staff, and hotel assets, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a secure environment.
* Architect and maintain robust security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to provide uninterrupted protection and identify areas for improvement.
* Drive risk management efforts through regular assessments, inspections, and vulnerability analyses, implementing corrective measures to mitigate potential threats.
* Lead, train, and mentor the security team to ensure adherence to safety protocols, guest service standards, and emergency procedures, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Design and deliver training programs on fire safety, medical emergencies, evacuation procedures, and crisis response, ensuring the team is equipped to handle critical situations.
* Optimize security coverage by managing duty schedules, allocating manpower effectively, and ensuring seamless execution during peak periods and special events.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related incidents and emergencies, resolving issues promptly and professionally with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
* Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement follow-up actions to prevent future occurrences, maintaining a proactive approach to security management.
* Collaborate with local authorities, including law enforcement and emergency services, to ensure effective response and resolution of critical situations.
* Foster a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees, responding to concerns with professionalism, discretion, and a customer-centric approach.
* Provide tailored security support for VIP and VVIP guests, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of service excellence.
* Develop and implement loss-prevention strategies to minimize theft, damage, or misuse of hotel property, ensuring the protection of assets and resources.
* Ensure compliance with local laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, maintaining accurate records of security activities, audits, and risk assessments.
* Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
* Contribute to the development and management of the annual security budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement of equipment and services without compromising safety standards.
* Oversee the inventory and maintenance of security tools, technology, and uniforms, ensuring the team is equipped to perform their duties effectively.
