Key Responsibilities
* Drive daily bar operations, leading staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.
* Foster a positive, professional team culture, promoting collaboration, respect, and continuous learning among bar staff.
* Architect efficient inventory management systems, monitoring stock levels, sales, and operating costs to optimize profitability.
* Develop and implement comprehensive training programs, coaching bar team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Ensure seamless execution of beverage preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards for quality, hygiene, and safety.
* Enforce responsible alcohol service, adhering to legal regulations and industry best practices.
* Manage guest complaints effectively, providing timely resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Conduct regular staff meetings, gathering feedback and reviewing procedures to drive continuous improvement.
* Oversee budget control, employee records, and bar expenses, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting.
* Source high-quality beverages and supplies, negotiating with suppliers to secure best-value agreements.
* Implement robust safety protocols, ensuring proper storage, handling, and maintenance of bar equipment and supplies.
* Design and launch innovative drink menus and promotions, driving customer engagement and revenue growth.
* Ensure consistency in drink recipes and quality standards, maintaining exceptional beverage quality and presentation.
* Handle challenging customer situations with calm professionalism, prioritizing customer safety and satisfaction.
* Forecast inventory and staffing requirements, adapting to operational challenges and ensuring smooth bar operations.
* Prioritize tasks, delegate duties, and monitor performance, driving a culture of accountability and excellence.
* Analyze customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Leverage technology, including computer systems, POS, and bar management software, to optimize inventory control, staff scheduling, and reporting.
* Collaborate with the F&B Manager and General Manager, providing updates and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Bachelor/Honors
- Higher Secondary
- Degree, higher secondary schooling, or a one-year diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or equivalent
Additional
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing a bar team
- Experience in a similar role within hospitality industry preferred
