Deputy Director of Research

* Spearhead the execution of multiple research projects, driving progress and ensuring timely completion under the guidance of the Project PI and Executive Director. * Lead and manage a team of researchers, providing coaching, support, and guidance to ensure successful project implementation and compliance with IRB/ERC approvals. * Oversee administrative management of staff, ensuring effective and efficient use of project resources and materials, and obtaining necessary approvals from relevant authorities. * Collaborate with Study Managers and Study Focal Persons to identify and overcome implementation challenges, developing strategies to enhance research implementation and protocol adherence. * Drive field implementation, conducting site visits to study hospitals and monitoring progress, while providing feedback and guidance to study teams. * Architect data quality assurance systems and tools, designing field monitoring reporting templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure data integrity and compliance. * Analyze and review weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports, identifying issues and providing constructive feedback to improve research outcomes. * Develop and maintain records of research activities, preparing periodic and ad hoc reports for investigators, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies, while supporting manuscript writing and publication. * Facilitate stakeholder engagement, organizing meetings and workshops to disseminate study findings, and representing PRF in national and international forums, fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. * Foster a culture of excellence, ensuring that research projects are conducted with the highest standards of quality, integrity, and compliance, while promoting the career development of Bangladeshi public health professionals.
