Nursing Supervisor/ Matron

* Lead patient care initiatives by ensuring nurses and paramedics provide exceptional service, including warm greetings, personalized counseling, and efficient data management. * Drive patient satisfaction through regular rounds, discussing treatment plans, and addressing concerns with patients and their attendants. * Collaborate with consultants, IMO, and coordinators to stay informed about patient conditions and resolve treatment-related issues. * Architect staffing schedules for indoor nurses and care assistants, monitoring implementation and adherence to rosters. * Manage patient records, registers, and files, ensuring accurate documentation, handover of charges, and compliance with hospital protocols. * Oversee staff activities, focusing on waste management, infection prevention, and cleaning to maintain a safe environment. * Expedite patient discharge processes, ensuring timely release within 30 minutes of receiving discharge certificates. * Analyze and report on patient data, bed occupancy, and indoor operations, providing insights for informed decision-making. * Ensure adherence to medical protocols, such as NVD and Partograph, and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders. * Conduct regular inventory checks, verifying the availability of essential drugs, instruments, and supplies. * Monitor and evaluate the care delivery process, from admission to discharge, to identify areas for improvement. * Provide actionable data and information to supervisors, supporting report preparation and hospital operations. * Proactively inform hospital managers about potential emergency situations, enabling prompt response and mitigation. * Develop and deliver on-job training programs for indoor nurses and care assistants, enhancing their skills and knowledge. * Engage in periodic meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and hospital policies. * Adapt to evolving priorities, undertaking additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by supervisors to ensure seamless hospital operations.
