Material Engineer (Bridge/Building/Road)

* Drive quality control and assurance initiatives for bridge and road projects, leveraging 10+ years of experience in the field. * Oversee and conduct comprehensive lab and field tests on construction materials, including compressive strength, tensile strength, and asphalt testing. * Ensure compliance with ASTM/AASHTO/BS standards, utilizing expertise in material testing to guarantee high-quality results. * Spearhead laboratory and field-testing procedures, applying hands-on experience to optimize testing protocols. * Manage quality control and quality assurance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures. * Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly material testing reports, to ensure transparency and accountability. * Analyze material failures, such as structural cracks and corrosion, and recommend targeted solutions to prevent future occurrences. * Monitor site activities, ensuring adherence to design drawings and proper material placement to guarantee project success. * Leverage strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders. * Utilize MS Office and basic engineering software to streamline reporting, data analysis, and project management, driving efficient and informed decision-making.
