Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the development of monthly work plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, including Upazila Health & Family Planning Officers and District Managers, to drive project success.
* Foster strategic partnerships with UH&FPO, Medical Officers, NGO staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and effective resource allocation.
* Architect resource distribution plans, ensuring optimal mapping, planning, and allocation of resources to achieve project objectives.
* Guide field staff on sample transportation, presumptive referral systems, and treatment protocols, adherence to standard operating procedures, and transportation logistics to Xpert, Truenat, or Microscopy sites.
* Drive treatment initiation for all confirmed TB patients, both drug-susceptible and drug-resistant, in collaboration with Medical Officers and other stakeholders.
* Lead the selection, supervision, and monitoring of Directly Observed Treatment (DOT) providers, ensuring treatment adherence and community-level support.
* Oversee contact investigation, TPT enrollment, and HIV screening at the community level, ensuring comprehensive care and support.
* Facilitate referrals for complicated or drug-resistant TB patients to Upazila Health Complex or other facilities, ensuring timely treatment initiation.
* Track and analyze project activities, including financial and programmatic aspects, to inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
* Develop and submit monthly and quarterly performance and financial reports, including e-TB Manager and e-LMIS, in collaboration with UH&FPO and other stakeholders.
* Conduct regular field visits to supervise project activities, identify areas for improvement, and ensure quality implementation.
* Identify staff training needs and develop capacity-building initiatives, including orientation and job aids, to enhance staff performance and project success.
* Ensure timely supply of drugs, logistics, and equipment to health workers and laboratories, supporting uninterrupted project operations.
* Organize awareness-raising meetings and orientations within the community, promoting project objectives and stakeholder engagement.
* Analyze upazila-level data, providing insights and recommendations to district-level management to inform decision-making and drive project impact.
* Develop and update private sector mapping, including formal and informal healthcare facilities and providers, to enhance presumptive and case referrals.
* Champion organizational gender policies, promoting gender equality and women's empowerment at all levels, and supporting inclusive project implementation.
