Key Responsibilities

* Drive community engagement and awareness on gender-based violence, cyberbullying, and discrimination through courtyard meetings and campaigns, targeting vulnerable groups such as indigenous women, Dalits, and people with disabilities. * Architect and deliver interactive awareness sessions to educate community members on harmful gender norms and strategies to prevent and respond to sexual harassment and gender-based violence. * Collaborate with local stakeholders, including CSOs and CBOs, to organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and events that promote gender equality and challenge discriminatory practices. * Foster strategic partnerships with local institutions and service providers to ensure survivors receive timely assistance, referral, and support, and to promote inclusive services. * Manage and maintain accurate documentation, case registers, and online systems to track progress and inform project implementation. * Empower survivors and justice seekers by providing legal information, facilitating case filing, and offering follow-up support to ensure access to justice. * Facilitate information sharing and document collection from relevant institutions to support service and justice seekers. * Liaise with the District Project Officer to ensure seamless project implementation, provide regular progress updates, and contribute to reporting efforts. * Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities, engage with community members, and identify areas for improvement. * Lead additional projects and tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the organization's mission.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Additional

  • At least 2 years of working experience in NGO program implementation
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Able to work quickly and well under pressure, both independently and as a team member, juggling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines
  • Communication skills, drafting, and report writing capability in Bangla/ English
  • Computer operating knowledge, especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and in email communication
  • Relevant work experience is preferable
  • Women are encouraged to apply
