Designer, Woven Label

• Design and develop innovative visual identities, including layouts, logos, and typography, for woven labels using industry-leading Adobe tools. • Architect digital artwork into weaving programs for Jacquard looms using specialized CAD software, ensuring seamless production. • Drive material selection by choosing optimal yarns and calculating yarn density/pick ratios to achieve desired label textures and durability. • Lead design projects from concept to completion, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring design file accuracy for each booking sheet. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and sample departments, to clarify requirements and ensure timely sample production and costing. • Manage sample swatch production, reviewing and approving initial production samples to guarantee final products meet brand standards for color accuracy and legibility. • Stay ahead of industry trends, monitoring fashion developments and regulatory requirements for care instructions, country of origin, and safety labels to inform design decisions. • Oversee raw material sourcing for sample production, ensuring timely availability and quality. • Adapt to evolving business needs, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to drive team success.
