Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the Industrial Engineering function to drive operational excellence and world-class performance across the factory. * Architect and implement standardized processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. * Optimize manpower utilization by maintaining an ideal Man-Machine Ratio and forecasting manpower requirements. * Pioneer the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and automation to boost productivity, profitability, and competitiveness. * Conduct regular work studies and capacity analyses to identify and address bottlenecks, ensuring seamless production flows. * Champion continuous improvement initiatives that foster a culture of efficiency and excellence across all departments. * Establish and maintain accurate Standard Minute Values and productivity benchmarks to inform effective costing and planning decisions. * Drive strategic projects to minimize waste and optimize costs, yielding significant bottom-line benefits. * Design and optimize factory layouts, workstations, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement. * Develop and mentor the Industrial Engineering team, building their capabilities and strengthening the organization's performance and competitiveness.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Textile Engineering

Additional

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in applying IE tools and techniques in garment manufacturing
  • In-depth understanding of garment construction, production and end-to-end manufacturing process flow
  • Ability in manpower planning, line balancing, capacity planning, and productivity improvement
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-based decision making
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with strong leadership qualities, high integrity, and strong work ethic
